Nets:

The Rockwall County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (RCARES) in Rockwall holds their on-air training on the 2nd Sunday of every month on the Rockwall repeaters, 441.525 Mhz (PL 141.3) linked to 147.555 Mhz simplex (no tone required), and 443.550 Mhz (PL 162.2). It is not required to be a member of the RCARES to check into the net; all properly licensed Hams are welcome to check in.

The Sabine Valley ARA holds a weekly net on the Greenville repeater on 146.780 (pl 114.8) every Thursday evening except the third (3rd) Thursday, when the regular monthly meeting is held at 7:00PM. The meeting is located at Fire Station #3 at the Corner of Sayle St. and Carie Lane in Greenville. A VE session is also held at each meeting evening, and Technician licensing classes and exams can be scheduled on request at at any time.
